About WEM

WEM is a global marketplace brand for shopping and travel. We help shoppers discover products and stays across partner retailers, use comparison tools when it helps, then send them to the merchant of their choice for checkout. What we do

We aggregate product information from supported retailer APIs, partner feeds, and curated editorial starting points so shoppers can browse, compare, and decide in one place. When a shopper clicks through to a retailer, we use tracked outbound links so qualifying purchases can earn us a commission and, where the retailer's program supports it, return cashback to the shopper. We do not host retailer checkouts and we do not store retailer payment data.

Where we surface review snippets, ratings, or trust signals, they are for context only. Always confirm the live price, availability, and policies on the retailer's own site before you purchase.

How we make money

WEM earns commission from qualifying purchases when shoppers use our outbound retailer links, including as an Amazon Associate. Commission rates and attribution rules are set by each retailer or affiliate network. Not every click or order qualifies, and returns or cancellations can reverse a commission. How we work with retailers and creators

We work with retailers through standard affiliate networks (Amazon Associates, Awin, Impact, Rakuten Advertising, CJ, Partnerize, ShareASale, Sovrn Commerce, and others) and with select retailers directly. Coverage and integration depth varies by program — some retailers support full product search via API, others support tracked outbound links only.

Creators in our influencer program receive a personal entry link (/ref/your-code) and optional per-channel campaign tags. Creators are responsible for following the FTC Endorsement Guides and any platform-specific disclosure rules in their own posts; WEM provides templates and guidance to help.

Editorial independence

Editorial picks (homepage rails, blog posts, comparisons) are chosen by the WEM team. Whether a product earns us a commission does not influence whether we feature it. We do not accept payment for ranking or rating, and we label sponsored placements where they appear.

Editorial standards

Our buying guides and comparisons are produced by the WEM editorial team. Here is how we work, so you can judge our recommendations for yourself:

  • Live, multi-retailer pricing. Prices and availability are pulled from retailer and affiliate feeds (Amazon, eBay and partner retailers) and refreshed regularly. We show the price on each retailer and link you to check out there — we never change the price you pay.
  • How we choose what to recommend. Picks are based on cross-retailer price analysis, product specifications, and aggregated review data — not on which retailer pays the highest commission.
  • Honest ratings. We only show star ratings and review counts sourced from genuine retailer review data. We do not invent ratings or reviews.
  • Corrections. Prices move and stock changes; if something looks wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Final price, stock, delivery and returns are always confirmed by the retailer at checkout.

Where we operate

WEM is operated by the team behind wem3.ai. Our consumer site is intended for shoppers in regions where our retail partners ship. We honour GDPR/UK GDPR and equivalent privacy regimes; consent for non-essential cookies (including affiliate tracking partners such as Sovrn Commerce / VigLink) is gated behind explicit opt-in.
