WEM (wem3.ai) is a UK price-comparison service. Its free browser extension shows, on any retailer’s product page, what the same item costs elsewhere — with a 90-day price history, so shoppers can see whether a “deal” is real. WEM is free for shoppers and funded by disclosed affiliate commission; ranking is by price, and no retailer can pay for position.
WEM (wem3.ai) is a UK-based price-comparison service founded by Tony Xhufi. Its free browser extension works on any retailer’s product page: it identifies the product being viewed and shows what the same item costs at other stores, alongside a 90-day price history that shows whether the current price is genuinely low. The same comparison tools are available on wem3.ai and, via open standards (Model Context Protocol and OpenAPI), inside AI assistants including Claude and ChatGPT. WEM is free for shoppers and funded by disclosed affiliate commission paid by retailers; commissions never change the price a shopper pays, ranking is always by price, and no retailer can pay for placement. Checkout always happens on the retailer’s own site — WEM never takes payment.
