Luton is north London's low-cost hub and prices its car hire accordingly — it is routinely the cheapest of the London airports for a week-long rental. The M1 is minutes away at Junction 10, putting the Midlands, Milton Keynes and the Chilterns within easy reach, and central London is roughly an hour by road outside peak times.
